Brother-in-law's Birthday, 0505.

Celebrated my BIL's birthday on the 5th May at MBS. MIL had booked a room for my BIL and his family for a night. And we were all invited. Of course the kids were happy as they love hotels. It was also for the kids to hang out while we, adults went for a nice dinner at Waku Ghin, AGAIN! Will write about that next post.

Happy Birthday, Gerald!

3 months.....

It has been 3 months since Ean was born, I have been so busy that I really have no time to blog.
Alot of things have been going on with the ET family that i really had to blog it all down.

One of the best things the ET family have done for the past 3 months was going for a holiday! In Australia, Melbourne and Brisbane!!
Yupz! I brought Ean and Ethan along. Of course with my parents and 1 of my Aunt and her family. My hubby and I could not have done it without all the help we had from my parents and aunt. It was as quite an enjoyable holiday despite having an infant with us.

I think Ethan had the most fun among all of us. He gets to sit his pony, feed animals at a farm stay, see the penguins at Philips Island, went to the Zoo to see his favourite crocodiles. I hope I have time to blog about the trip. It really a nice place to visit and child friendly too.

Here some photos we took, will try to blog about the trip soon.

Cousin Eunice's Wedding Dinner

The following day was my Cousin Eunice's wedding banquet at the Hotel Intercontinental at Bugis.
Dressing up Ethan was not easy as he does not like to wear long sleeve shirt and pant. He keep telling me 'Mummy not nice, not nice.' After some struggling and help from my help, finally he is done.

Tadah!

My bb and me.

The ballroom at the Hotel Intercontinental was very grand and beautiful. The wedding favour were these heart shaped container which had sweets in them.

The cute wedding favours.

Naturally these boxes on the table attracted Ethan. The moment he sat down at the table, he quickly grab 1 of them and open up the cover with ease. And out dropped all the sweets and he went "wow". We had to quickly hide the sweets from him. He knew that if he ask politely he can get away with 1 or 2 of them. So he goes " Mummy, can i have some please?" How can you reject him when he ask so sweetly, right? So the daddy ask him to close his eyes and make a wish for the sweets to appear back in the box. It was so cute seeing him making a wish.
He found a new toy.

Making his wish for sweets to appear in the box.

Still wishing...
We also found out that he likes to eat another kind of vegetable. Broccoli. Normally we will cut it into very small pieces to mix with his rice or porridge. He surprise us by taking a big piece from my mum's plate and try to eat it. And he really likes it. And it make me a happy mother seeing my son eat vegetables.

Cousin Eunice's Church Wedding.

Last Saturday, we had to wake Ethan up early to attend my Cousin Eunice's church wedding about 9am. Normally he sleeps till 10-10.30am. We were a bit worried that he would be grouchy through out the day but to our surprise he was not at all. He was all smiles and bubbly.

Once we reached the church, he was running around looking for his grandparents and happily took photo with them.
With his grandparent and great-grandma.

Exploring the bibles books.
It was his 2nd church wedding, his 1st one was when he was only like 6 months old. So now that he is 23 months, he more aware of things going on or happening around him. As you know church wedding can be boring for kids, we were prepared to bring him out when he gets restless. But he kept himself busy with moving the bibles in and out of the pews, sliding them left to right, right to left for a good 15mins. After that he was looking for other entertainment, his uncle, my bro. He was always looking for my bro when he is around because he want to play with his iPhone. And this sweet uncle has a special folder where he keeps all the children application just for him. And that keep him busy for a while before the worship starts.

Enjoying the worship.

The ET Family.
I'm so glad we survived through the ceremony without any major breakdown from Ethan. In fact he did enjoy the worship part. After the reception, we were all tired and decided to go home. Ethan was so tired that he fell asleep almost immediately as the car move off.
