2D1N Desaru Trip Part 2

After the wonderful lunch, we head off to the crocodile farm. It is quite a big farm to walk around, there were some upgrading being done to the farm but most of the area was accessible. It amazing seeing the different size of crocodile, from a few weeks old to 155 years old crocodile. Most of them were just lazing around trying to hide away from the scorching heat. It began to get a little boring, until it was feeding time!

Feeding time was exciting, the keeper was wheeling a barrow filled with fishes walking around the farm calling out to the crocodile. Amazingly, once the crocodile hear his voice, they began to come alive and try to follow his voice to see where he will stop and feed them. It was quite scary to watch him feed the crocodiles as the crocodiles would leap up to try to eat the fishes, we were afraid they will snap the hand off the keeper.
And we could hear the loud snap that the crocodile made after every feed.

Next stop was the Fruit Farm. It a huge plantation with 100 over varieties of fruit, and so they claimed. It was an eye opener as we saw how a dragon fruit plant looks like, the biggest jack fruit we ever see, passion fruit trail, mangosteen tree...etc. Till the end of the farm was a mini zoo, the kids were the most excited as they have cute rabbits hopping around in the cage which you can touch. There were goats, turtle, snakes, chickens...The kids were reluctant to go we were about to leave. The fruit farm was also selling durians but they were not that great and expensive too, so we only had a few before we left to check into the hotel.
